About MoodPatterns
MoodPatterns is an individualized tracking system that helps people living with bipolar disorder map their own mood patterns, recognize early-warning signs, and share what they learn with their care team. Rather than offering a generic checklist, MoodPatterns begins with a guided historical review: each person reconstructs the episodes they have already lived through, in their own words and on their own timeline, and the system uses that personal history to surface the sequence of changes that tends to precede their mood shifts.
Day to day, members log a short check-in covering mood, sleep, energy, light exposure, social intensity, and substance use. Over time those check-ins combine with the reconstructed history to build a private, longitudinal picture of what stability and vulnerability look like for that individual. A built-in pattern assistant can summarize the data into a report designed to be read together with a clinician or prescriber, and members choose exactly which therapist or support person may view their information.
MoodPatterns is built for adults living with bipolar I or II, their therapists and prescribers, and the trusted support people in their lives. It is a personal journal and pattern-recognition tool, not a medical record, a diagnosis, or a replacement for professional care. It is built and maintained by the MoodPatterns team using the Base44 platform, with a focus on privacy, calm design, and clear safety framing so the people who rely on it always know what the tool can and cannot do. Access is offered through a low-cost annual membership, and clinicians may receive complimentary access for their clients.
